Sunday morning the U16 Jr. Shamrocks and North Shore Vipers met for the second time this season. The first game ended in a hard fought 1-1 tie. This time it would be much of the same.

After a scoreless first period, the Vipers struck first in the second period to go up 1-0. The Jr. Shamrocks came right back to tie it at 2-2 when Maddie Roberts buried a rebound to beat the Vipers goalie short side. The battle between these two evenly matches teams continued and the Vipers scored again to take a 3-2 lead. But the Jr. Shamrocks were not done and struck again when Sammie Callahan deked one defenseman and launched a quick low shot to beat the Vipers goalie tying the game at 3-3. Neither team could score again and once again the U16 Jr. Shamrocks and the North Shore Vipers ended a hard fought game in a tie.

Next Sunday the U16 Jr. Shamrocks will travel to the New England Sports Center in Marlboro for a rematch with the Minuteman Lady Flames. Last time these two teams met the Jr. Shamrocks lost 4-1.
